On the morning of March 25,” Science and China”, a public report on dynamic science by tour experts was delivered at TUT. Academician Yanwei, the President of Zhejiang University was invited to give an academic report titled "Numerical Simulation of Nano-structure” in the lecture hall of the Science Building. Academician Xie Kechang, the President of TUT presided over the welcome ceremony. The President of Association of Science and Technology of Shanxi Province, the Vice President of TUT, professor Hou Jinchuan gave the welcome speech.

Introducing the fruitful results in numerical simulation of micro nano-scale in their study group in recent years, mainly containing that the molecular dynamics of cross-spatial scale and inter-time scale - simulation of continuum mechanics reveals the evolution mechanisms of different shortcomings of the material, the particular dynamic phenomenon  in the multi-wall carbon nano-tubes and the rolling bearing of the multi-wall carbon nano-tubes and so on, Academician Yang impressed us with his academic foundation , and his humorous language combining with the features of the specialty。

Academician Yang explained the above theories with simple terms and vivid illustrations so that teachers and students gained further knowledge of the novel physical mechanical properties of material and structure in nano-microscale, as well as its potential engineering application values.
