At 3:00 P.M of Oct.29th, the 2006 Award Presentation Ceremony of Heliang Heli Foundation took place at Beijing Diaoyutai State Guesthouse. Altogether 57 outstanding figures in the field of science and technology were granted ‘Science and Technology Award’, ‘Science and Technology Progress Award’ and ‘Science and Technology Innovation Award’. The ceremony was a grand event in scientific and educational areas of China. Xie  Kechang, the president of TUT, was honored with  ‘Science and Technology Progress Award’.
